Stay in your lane; what does it mean? If you’re a driver, I’m sure you’ve had to yell countless times, “stay in your lane,” to drivers drifting over the lines into your lane. I must ask you to stay in your lane because too many Christians get caught up in the attention-craving of likes and views. We are programmed to look at the numbers, which causes us to take our eyes off what God wants us to focus on individually. Statistics and numbers are smack dab in our faces on social platforms, YouTube, and email marketing accounts.

It’s easy to desire someone else’s purpose, gifts, and talents—but what does God require from you? If we can’t concentrate on what we are supposed to do, we won’t finish the race with excellence.

As you go through the preparation season, before God gifts you with the desire of your heart to enter a loving and fulfilling marriage, let’s consider some things. First, you want to identify the areas prone to breaking down. Secondly, secure the potential entry points (footholds) like fort Knox.

The Bible tells us not to despise small beginnings. Therefore, don’t scorn your single life because it will profit you nothing. I understand you desire marriage, but if you’re not vigilant with self-discipline, you’ll prolong the process of connecting with the spouse you desire because you fell into temptation.

Are You Saved

Are you saved, or will God’s judgment lead you into the gates of hell for eternity? I am calling on all who identify as saved and profess Christ. HELL is an actual destination where the worm never dies, and there will never be a new opportunity to repent and make it right with Christ if you end up there. Your eternal future is nothing to toy with.

Therefore, are you bearing the fruits of repentance if you’re saved? You’ll want to examine yourself because you’ll be responsible for the wages of your sin when you stand before our holy God on judgment day. Romans 6:23 NIV says, for the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Don’t Look Back – Navigating the Single Life

Don’t look back at what might have been or what you thought should’ve happened with that person. Tempting as it can be, refuse to look back and reminisce on a connection that never worked out in the past. Let it go. If a genuine relationship were in order, it would’ve already happened.
