It’s time to  get off the couch and walk in obedience to the call on our life. Jesus Christ was obedient in fulfilling the work of the Father even when he was overwhelmed in His soul. During this time of quarantine we have the opportunity to have a do over, a reinvention if you will. We get to praise and worship our Lord and Savior differently than we’ve done in the past, as for most of us church is closed.

Additionally, it’s the couch where comfort kicks in. It’s the couch where we get complacent and stuck. Once we sit down on it, it’s hard to get off. But, what if Jesus didn’t move forward and take up the cross. What if He decided that He didn’t want to do it anymore?

Thank God that He went through with it, because He took our place on the cross. This was something we deserved. Although He was overwhelmed in His soul to the point of death, He still did it.

Mark 14:32-35 NIV says, They went to a place called Gethsemane, and Jesus said to his disciples, “Sit here while I pray.” He took Peter, James and John along with him, and he began to be deeply distressed and troubled.  My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death,” he said to them. “Stay here and keep watch.” Going a little farther, he fell to the ground and prayed that if possible the hour might pass from him. “Abba, Father,” he said, “everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.”

Are you struggling to get off of the couch? If so you’ve come to the right place. This ministry is dedicated to helping you to be clear on your vision, encourage, motivate, teach, and to deal with the soul issues that are keeping you from being connected to God.
