Stay faithful when it appears to not be working out your way. No matter what you’re going through, remember God is in control and there is nothing that can happen without it coming through Him first. Jesus lives, He’s still on the throne, and His blood never loses power.
His Word is solid and it’s the only constant that we can trust and depend on right here and now. Do you believe that? If not, please look back over your life and see how far God has bought you dear friend. You’re here because of His love, grace, and mercy is working on your behalf and working things out for good.
When all is said and done, it all works out.
Romans 8: 26-28 NIV says, In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God. And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
Your current and past struggles, pain, trials, tests, or suffering have a purpose. Nothing in this life happens without a reason. It’s hard when we can’t comprehend the why to our question, but some things we will never have the answer to.
Just know that God Almighty is with you while you’re going through. He’s holding your hand, giving you strength, and wiping every tear.
He’s bigger than your biggest problem.
Set Goals God’s Way
He loves you beyond your past, sins, faults, and wrongs. He cares about your EVERY concern. He knows it’s painful for you, but in order to get out of the valley you have to go through it. The process cannot be eliminated, that’s not how God works.
There is no Promise Land without passing through the valley.
When God planned for the Israelites to finally come out of Egypt, into the Promised Land, they didn’t march right into their intended destination just because God had a place set aside for them. They had to fight for it after they were delivered from slavery.
God sent Moses to start the journey. Moses had to answer the call (which is a lot), grow, be strengthened, overcome his fears, inadequacies, and learn to trust God.
It took more than Moses saying “Let my people go.” The release had to happen patiently and spiritually. It took persistence, overcoming rejection, determination, many talks with God, a positive attitude, and lots of faith. Moses had to get back up no matter how many times he was knocked down!
Unfortunately, the Israelites had a mindset of bondage that had to be broken, and we are no different. We our bound up by the life we led before we accepted Jesus (or finally decided to get right with him) and the flesh we war with daily. The Holy Spirt and the sword (God’s Word) must penetrate our soul layers for us to be transformed into what God has called us to be. He’s the potter and we’re the clay.
Resisting won’t help you sis/bro, it will only prolong the test. Grumbling, complaining, worrying, and getting upset will not change the outcome either.
God has to refine you because He knows your potential. He knows who you are and what He created you to do.
Also, you’re not the only one in this equation. He is working on others too, and He has to move them out of the way or connect them with your path in perfect timing. He has to cause some situations to move or to happen in order for Him to get you to your destination.
As my mother Lynette loves to say, “There’s a message in the music.” This is so true if you just ponder on it. Yes, the trial is extremely daunting and sometimes unbearable, but the sun will shine again. The storm will pass, and the mountain will move.
In the meantime, thank the King of Kings for what He’s done and what He’s doing. Trust Him anyway regardless of how easy it is to worry and be afraid. Thank Him for strengthening you when you wanted to give up. Bless Him at all times because in any and all things He will get His glory. It’s due Him, He deserves it regardless of what present state we find ourselves in.
Remember God is good all the time, no matter how hard the day is. His hand is strong enough to change anything in the twinkling of an eye whenever He desires.
Be patient take it one minute, one hour, and one day at a time. At this very moment you’re blessed, so let Him handle the rest.
Soul Note: God will never forget about you. You’re in His hands eternally and no matter how big or impossible it seems, nothing can ever change that! Keep praising, keep praying, keep the faith and don’t give up.
